Join us as we bring distilling back to Dumbarton, once the whisky capital of the world. At Levenbank Distillery, we’re offering a unique chance to own a slice of Scotch whisky history, crafted with care, character, and decades of brewing expertise.
Founded by the award-winning team behind Loch Lomond Brewery, our distillery creates bold, flavour-forward new make spirit using real beer recipes and small, perfectly sized stills. The result? A spirit that’s bursting with flavour, even before it hits the cask.
Your Cask, Your Way
Be part of the process from the very beginning. Choose your style of new make, select your cask type, and even come help us fill it. You’re welcome to visit your cask anytime (just get in touch to book ahead), and we’ll send you yearly samples so you can follow your whisky’s journey as it matures.
Our New Make Spirit
Being brewers, we’re very proud of the wash that we use to distil with and we love experimenting with different wash styles to see how they differ in flavour once distilled. We have three new make spirits available for our private casks, and allow you to choose from:
Laureate - Our pale ale malt sourced locally and provided by Crisp Maltings and fermented using an ale yeast creating a hugely fruit forward flavour.
Brewmaster - This is our blend of pale ale, crystal and brown malts to create a more robust coffee and chocolate flavoured wash.
Peated - A combination of pale ale and peated malt to deliver a peated wash with big smoky and toasted flavour and aroma

OPTION 1
CASK AND EQUITY - £10,000
Your investment will be split £3,000 for your cask and £7,000 worth of shares. So own your own cask and a share of the distillery.
In 10 years you can ask us to bottle your cask, move it to another approved warehouse or independent bottler. Or we will buy it back for £10,000 and you keep your shares.

OPTION 2
CASK - FROM £4,000
A 200 litre ex bourbon single malt cask that we will warehouse and insure for 10 years.
In 10 years you can ask us to bottle your cask, move it to another approved warehouse or independent bottler.

OPTION 3
RYE CASK - £3,800
Our first ever single grain rye casks are now available for private cask purchase.
This single grain whisky delivers a distinctive flavour profile, with rye creating natural spice, texture and depth. Price includes 10 years warehousing and insurance.
In 10 years you can ask us to bottle your cask, move it to another approved warehouse or independent bottler.
OPTION 4
700 CLUB - £595
Celebrate in our first bottling release as we celebrate the 700th anniversary of the death of King Robert the Bruce.
Limited to 700 bottles you will receive the first ever Levenbank whisky release in our 2029 single grain salute to the Bruce.
You will also receive a bottle of the new make spirit plus our bespoke Levenbank decanter allowing you to age your own spirit plus a bottle from each of our first single malt releases expected in 2030 and again limited to just 700 bottles and our first rye whisky bottling.
Thats 4 bottles of our first ever releases - A virgin oak decanter and new make spirit to have your own fun with and a life time of discounts and early access offers.
